Go to the App Store if you’re on an Apple device or tap the Google Play icon if you’re on Android. Simply tap 'search' and type Daikin E-care to find the app, then tap on the icon to download it to your device. Once it’s installed, open the E-care app and you’re ready to go.
No, you do not need a maintenance contract to get access to Stand By Me. However, you do need to register your Daikin unit on Stand By Me to be able to buy the various service packages available on the platform, such as maintenance.
By registering your unit, you can access information about your product and keep your warranty and service partner details online. We are constantly striving to improve the services that the Stand By Me platform provides to our customers. We need your contact information and some information about your product to provide high-quality support and better communication between you and your service partner.
The E-care app is primarily to help certified Daikin installers do their job. The only time you may need to access it is to register your unit if your installer hasn’t already done so. Instead, you should use the Onecta app to control your unit and monitor its energy usage. Once you’ve added the Onecta app to your mobile phone (Apple and Android) , you’ll have complete control, wherever you go.
